Year (+0.5) in review

Been a while since I posted a journal entry here, about a year and a half.  A lot has happened in that time. Starting off with in,  '14 my mother and father passed away in August and September.  Then in October of that I had to move out of where I was living. It was my brother's house that my parents were living in, I was living with and taking care of them. Also, I was working for my father, so, I also lost my job, and three more after that. Then, in march of '15, I moved again to where I am now.

Now from some details.  I really don't want to talk about the particulars of my parent's deaths, so, I won't say anymore on that.  So, that leaves the job issue, I'm fine as far as that goes right now, though, some of what happened in the other jobs seems like it came strait from a Dilbert comic; terrible hour, lousy pay, insufficient train, incompetent management, petty office politics to name a few. Did meet a few interesting people though, and got some new appreciation for what some people have to put up with (and I ain't talking about the people at the top).

Next up, living arrangements.  The first place after my parent's was in some really old (like pre-1920, I'm guessing) office building that was converted into apartments. Three apartments were in the building, in a row, I had the middle one.  On one side was a couple of women, and lets just say the walls were thin there and you could hear "things".  The other side was a woman with five kids (from four different guys), I joked to others that she was Ms Jekyll and Momma Hyde, cause she acted nice by herself, but, when she was with her kids, yikes (I felt sorry for them).  The place I am now is a lot nicer, big concrete build with all the modern security features.

Finally, stuff that is related to what I do here.  Starting off, I made a Patreon page www.patreon.com/archangeldread… , Not sure completely sure how I'm going to work it, but, it won't be a paywall (maybe an early release type thing).  Also, I'm not taking commissions right now, also need to figure out what I'm going to do about them.  So, most of my art stuff is up in the air at the moment (I even have part of a art park done, but not sure what to do with it, might post it on Patreon later on).
